Public Comment Notice for the 2026/2027 Work Plan for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has prepared a work plan for FY 26/27 funding from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant.

Michigan’s work plan is administered by the MDHHS Division of Local Health Services. The work plan identifies the State’s priorities for preventive health programs including detailed activities and objectives. MDHHS will hold a meeting for the purpose of taking public comment on the proposed work plan, to be held on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­June 9, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST.  This will be a virtual meeting only.
