Infant and Child Mortality

Overview: Improve maternal, child, and adolescent health by identifying health disparities, understand causes, and addressing them through evidence-based solutions.

CCFH Services: Provide statewide technical assistance in reviewing child fatalities, data entry into a national database, support data driven child fatalities prevention efforts, facilitate discussions to reform systems and inform policy, facilitate focus groups and identify common themes, and conduct program evaluations.

Projects: MI Child Death Review, Fetal Infant Mortality Review, Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Case Registry, Infant Safe Sleep, Citizen Review Panel, Medical Examiner System Evaluation and Reform, Strong Start | Healthy Start Evaluation.
