The annual National Network of Public Health Initiatives (NNPHI) Conference will take place on June 10-12, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN, and multiple MPHI employees will be in attendance. This year, the conference theme is “Defining Public Health Now and For the Future,” reflecting the conference’s purpose of bringing together public health professionals for the advancement of public health. The event features discussions and presentations on impactful and innovative public health programs, as well as opportunities for participants to connect, learn from colleagues, and gain actionable takeaways to bring back to their communities.

Dr. Renée Branch Canady, CEO, will join Dr. Lauren Smith, Vice President of Strategic Portfolios at the RWJF, on June 11 for a discussion on Systems Transformation: A Blueprint for Public Health Collective Leadership.

Four MPHI employees will also present together during the conference. Linda Gordon, Associate Director, Hope Rollins, Director, Judy Spanogle, Business Operations Coordinator, and Nicole Wood, Social Media and Corporate Communications Specialist, will share models, activities, and key outcomes of the MPHI – Equity in Action (EIA) Workshop Series. This series provided proactive technical assistance for Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) Region V grantees in 2024 and 2025. Since EIA’s inception in 2021, the workshops have reached 138 organizations and 657 learners across 33 states and Nova Scotia, Canada.

MPHI is proud to be part of the exchange of industry knowledge and wishes our employees luck with their presentations this week!
